At the end of last year, we hosted our third Mission Arena in Amsterdam, where participants gathered for two days to co-design a regional roadmap to work toward improving the circularity and carbon-neutrality of the blue economy in the North Sea region.
Following the success of this Arena, we are delighted to announce that our next Mission Arena will be taking place in Sopot, Poland on 28-29 April 2025 in conjunction with the Polish EU Council Presidency. This Arena will focus on the region including Poland, Eastern Germany and Denmark, and South-Eastern Sweden. The event is co-organised by the Blue Economy Baltic Forum, NCBR, IOPAN, and the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership.
Over the course of one and a half days, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the most pressing blue economy issues facing the region such as shipping and ports, maritime security, and sustainable food production. The event will culminate in the co-creation of a roadmap guiding the region toward achieving the goals of EU Mission Oceans & Waters.
