AIRCOAT is delighted to invite you to its stakeholder workshop on September 6, 2018 at SMM Hamburg. Two identical workshops will take place on the same day, the first at 10:00 and the second at 13:00 in Room B6.5 in hall B6.
To participate please email info@aircoat.eu
The Air Induced friction Reducing ship COATing (AIRCOAT) project promotes a groundbreaking technology with a high potential to revolutionise the ship-coating sector by reducing energy consumption and ship emissions. AIRCOAT aims to develop a biomimetic passive air lubrication technology inspired by the Salvinia effect.
A team of ten European scientists and industry experts received funding from the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 programme to develop and demonstrate the AIRCOAT prototype.
This workshop includes insightful presentations on the objectives of AIRCOAT and the findings of previous relevant projects. The workshop closes with an open Q&A panel to discuss the project with the stakeholders.
To find out more about AIRCOAT please visit www.aircoat.eu or visit our AIRCOAT Exhibit at the Fraunhofer booth 319 in hall B6 at the SMM Hamburg.
