MMG is one of the first companies in the maritime industry that uses additive manufacturing to support their production processes for tailor-made marine propeller. In order to prepare the casting of these small batch series each propeller type needs an accurate pattern equipment. MMG has recently started to print these pattern equipment using additive manufacturing. Due to the size of these parts special 3D-printing in large scale is necessary. Dr. Greitsch introduces you to their approach of printing in large scale. |
